Synchronised Swimming Programs
Synchronised Swimming is a fun and unique Olympic team sport which combines the rhythms of music and dance with the health and fitness of swimming. An alternative aquatic sport, synchro is a perfect activity for children who love to swim, dance and listen to music.
At Aqualina we specialise in synchro skill development, water confidence and learning through fun. Our innovative training programs focus on the development of each athlete's synchro skills whilst improving their strength, endurance, creativity, coordination and flexibility. Athletes can develop skills in synchronised swimming through our beginner, recreational or competitive programs.
Beginner
Our beginners program is a healthy and fun choice specifically structured to permit all levels of participation for girls aged 7-13. Swimmers will enjoy learning various figure combinations and routines and will experience the fun of dancing in the water. No prior synchro experience necessary.
Swimmers should be able to swim 25 meters.
Recreational
Our recreational program is designed to build on the skills that were learnt in our beginners program. Swimmers will be introduced to the philosophy of teamwork and will learn core basics such as sculling, tubs, somersaults, land drills and eggbeater. This will enable the athletes to achieve the first skill level, Star 1.

Our competitive program provides an introduction to the competitive sport of synchro. Swimmers will learn individual figures and swim a team routine. They may be selected to swim in a solo, duet or trio in addition to the team routine. Swimmers will have the opportunity to compete at local competitions, state competitions and the national championships.
